Our Story

Lift Up Fitness Project is about lifting those up around you, lifting up yourself, & most importantly lifting up our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

 

Lifting up those around us is important because we are all stronger together. Together we can make a positive impact on those around us by encouraging, challenging, & supporting one another. If we take the competition piece out & focus on helping one another, the world is a much better place.

Lifting up ourselves can often be a strategy we forget as many of us focus on taking care of those around us. Never forget that you are beautifully & wonderfully made by Him. Set your goals, make taking care of you a priority, & while you are at it, look in the mirror everyday & remind yourself “I am worthy”.

Lifting up Jesus Christ is the foundation of Lift Up Fitness Project. This business was born on a lot of prayer, morning devotional time, & letting the Lord lead the way. The verse this business was founded on is Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong & courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you.”

STEPHANIE FURROW

Owner & Lead Trainer

Steph lives in Colorado with her husband, Beau & three children Cooper, Kipton, & Baylor. She was born & raised a small town Kansas girl where her heart will always be but enjoys the beautiful Colorado weather & easy access to the mountains! She is a certified personal trainer through ISSA & has her certification as a Youth Exercise Specialist (YES) through NASM. She worked in a boutique gym setting for over 5 years coaching & programming classes & as apersonal trainer. Coach Steph has a passion for bringing people together, helping people get & stay active, & helping people realize that exercising & being active looks different for everyone.

My lifestyle changes started back in October with Stephanie. I had gone in for my annual checkup & of course saw my weight and I was in tears. What to do? Well, it's time to make a change in my eating habits. I talked with Stephanie and we got a plan together. Since then I have lost 15 lbs. The plan works for me. It’s easy to follow & she checks in on me to hold me accountable. I love that it’s not super strict or a bunch of shakes but real food! I am in awe of my workouts & running since changing my eating habits. The difference from low energy to feeling good. I can’t thank Steph enough. I sought out Stephanie after training with her at her last gym because I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. My son & I have now been training with her for a few months and we love our sessions. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the body i n movement and nutrition. Stephanie encourages me daily to keep my body moving and to make conscious food choices to help me in making my body healthier. She has the ability to push you through your workout if you need that shove and she can also make you laugh at the same time. Training with Stephanie is a positive blessing in my life.
